Meet Carol Cruz, the visionary behind Carol Cruz Coaching, a private coaching and consulting practice. In 2013, she stepped away from office administration and the corporate world to take a leap of faith and further her education in the field of addiction recovery.
Before working in an office and then becoming a wellness recovery coach, her life was marked by addiction, undiagnosed mental illness, and the lingering effects of physical and emotional trauma. From a young age, she struggled with suicidal thoughts, and by the age of 31, she had become deeply entrenched in drug use and depression, ultimately becoming homeless while pregnant with her son. These challenges led her down a painful and difficult path, causing her to lose sight of who she was and the potential of who she could become.
Fast forward to today, Carol is celebrating 30 years of healing and recovery, reflecting on a journey of remarkable transformation—a blend of unwavering determination and grace. Her powerful story has fueled her dream of becoming a successful entrepreneur, leading to the launch of her private coaching and consulting practice. With over a decade of experience coaching clients, Carol has created the perfect platform to channel her lived experience into the professional space.
Through her practice, she offers a holistic approach and personalized coaching services, helping individuals navigate challenges related to health, career, relationships, and personal growth. Her mission is to empower clients to overcome obstacles, build resilience, and create a balanced, fulfilling life.
